DAY CAMPS CAMP FUR, FINS & FEATHERS

Camp Fur, Fins and Feathers is a place where kids connect with animals. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for children to interact and learn about the animals that share our world. An enthusiastic staff of instructors and friendly animals give your child an enriching experience filled with hands-on animal encounters, fun activities, and crafts. As they have fun, campers learn respect, compassion, and how to provide a lifetime of care for animals.
Younger campers will learn about animal characteristics, behaviour and proper pet care. Campers meet and pet bunnies, cats, dogs, reptiles, birds, and more! As campers get older, they will have more sophisticated learning opportunities that include behind the scenes tours, more in-depth animal interactions, enriching games, and volunteer and career exploration. Teens attending our media themed camp will create real media campaigns to be used by the Calgary Humane Society while our introduction to animal training camp will teach the foundations needed for teens to understand how animals learn and how they can shape animal behaviours.
